Service Unit Team

The purpose of the Tipp-Bethel Service Unit Team is to help girls and adults develop their full Girl Scout potential!!  If help is needed, the Team is available to answer questions, assist, and/or guide you.  The Tipp-Bethel Service Unit Team has been fully trained in their position(s) and are very happy and eager to help!!

Manager - Responsible for seeing that Girl Scouting happens in the area covered by the Service Unit.  Provides continual support to Service Unit.

Membership Recruiter - Serves as a contact with girls and adults who are interested in becoming part of the Girl Scout Organization.  Also plans recruiting events (Round-Ups) to help place girls in new or existing troops.

Registrar - Ensures all girls and adults who are active within the Service Unit are registered for the current membership year.

Outdoor Adventures Consultant - Promotes outdoor activities, including biking, rafting, challenge course, etc., and is knowledgeable of outdoor activities, procedures, and Safety-Wise.

New Leader Consultant - Responsible for making sure that new leaders know about Tipp-Bethel Service Unit and everything it has to offer.  Provides on-going support to new leaders.

Training Consultant - Maintains adult records for each volunteer in the Service Unit.  Also, promotes Council trainings and adult recognitions.  Ensures Troop and Service Unit adults have appropriate training.

Financial Consultant - Keeps accurate records of Service Unit finances.  Also maintains Service Unit bank account.

Silver & Gold Awards Consultant - An Advisor for the Cadette Silver Award and Senior/Ambassador Gold Award.

Bronze Award - An Advisor for the Junior Bronze Award.  Approves Bronze Award Applications for Service Unit.

Program Consultant - Helps leaders, if they need help.  Attends troop meetings, if needed.

Nut Sales Consultant - Informs Service Unit of Fall Product Sales.  Responsible for distributing and collecting order forms, making sure volunteers from each troop is Product Sales trained, and is responsible for turning in appropriate forms to Council.  Also responsible for distributing (to Troop Leaders) any incentives and/or prizes to be awarded to girls.

Cookie Sales Co-Consultant - Informs Service Unit of Cookie Product Sales.  Responsible for distributing and collecting order forms, making sure volunteers from each troop is Product Sales trained, and is responsible for turning in appropriate forms to Council.  Also responsible for distributing (to Troop Leaders) any incentives and/or prizes to be awarded to girls.

Cookie Sales Consultant - Informs Service Unit of Cookie Product Sales.  Responsible for distributing and collecting order forms, making sure volunteers from each troop is Product Sales trained, and is responsible for turning in appropriate forms to Council.  Also responsible for distributing (to Troop Leaders) any incentives and/or prizes to be awarded to girls.

Encampment Coordinator - Organizes Service Unit Encampments.  Providing fun, safe, learning at local Girl Scout campsites, for our local Girl Scouts.  Is knowledgeable of camping policies and procedures, including Safety-Wise.

Family Partnership Co-Coordinators - Organizes efforts to raise money for our local Girl Scout Council, which helps provide girls everywhere to enjoy Girl Scouting.
